We all are living in the 21st century yet some of us are still believing in different superstitions. When these superstitions take a toll on people, they tend to do things.
For instance, statue of the beloved police horse Shaktimaan in Dehradun, Uttrakhand was installed this saturday as a tribute now it had got removed. According to the sources, the majestic statue was removed by the Uttrakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat due to his superstitious beliefs as Bejan Daruwalla suggested him. Some of our politicians think alike and and thus the fuss is made about superstitious practices. Another instance is Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav who never visits Noida, as he believes that his government will slip right through his hands. Same goes for the former UP Chief Minister Mayavati, she believes the same.
While speaking to News Leak Centre, former Congress leader Harak Singh Rawat called it a drama and called Harish Rawat joker of the politics. The statue was to be inaugrated on Wednesday but was removed before it’s inaugration. With so much in development, it is hard to believe that we still believe in such practices.
