Remembering BR Ambedkar, the father of our constitution! Let us read some of his inspirational quotes on his 65th death anniversary.

Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar was one of the most influential figures in India’s democracy. He was born on 14th April 1891 and is popularly known as Babasaheb. He immensely contributed to drafting the constitution of our country. He relentlessly fought against social discrimination against untouchables and worked for the upliftment of lower-class people in society.

Ambedkar was conferred with Bharat Ratna, posthumously in the year 1990. Dr. BR Amebedhkar passed away in his sleep on December 6, 1956. However, he greatly intrigued social reformers, academics, and politicians with his work.

The death anniversary of BR Ambedkar is also known as Mahaparinirvan Diwas. So remembering the father of our constitution let’s have a look at some of his most inspiring quotes :

  1. So long as you do not achieve your social liberty, whatever freedom is provided to by law is no avail to you.
  2. Humans are mortals. So our ideas. An idea needs propagation as much as plant needs watering. Otherwise, both will wither and die.
