In history we only heard about Shah Jahan who built Taj Mahal for his wife Mumtaz Mahal as a symbol of love but in this case we could see a man of Burhanpur has recreated the history by building replica of Taj Mahal for his wife.

Anand Chokse, a resident of Burhanpur , always wondered that why Taj Mahal was not build in his city , as Shah Jahan’s wife died in his city, Burhanpur. It is said that the Taj Mahal was to be build on banks of Tapti river but was later on built in Agra.

The house build by Anand is exact replica of Taj Mahal in Agra. According to him it took three years to build this 4- bedroom house.
The engineer said that building this house as exact replica of Taj Mahal was a big challenge for him. He studied the real Taj Mahal very closely. He sought help from other artists from Bengal and Indore carving inside the house.

The dome of the house is at height of 29 feet. It has Taj Mahal like towers and flooring of the house is made from ‘Makhrana’ of Rajasthan and furniture of the house has been prepared by various artists from Mumbai.

The house has 4-bedroom, a library and a meditation room.

Not only this, but the lightning of the house is done in such a way that it shines in dark just like real Taj Mahal of Agra.
