Newly-wed actress Poonam Pandey gets her husband arrested for ‘Assaulting her’

Poonam Pandey seems to have embroiled herself in another controversy.As Bollywood actress Poonam Pandey who recently tied the knot with Boyfriend Sam Bombay, filed a complaint against him on Monday for assaulting her.

Following the complaint Sam Bombay was arrested in Goa on Tuesday after she filed a complaint claiming he had molested, threatened, and assaulted her, police said.

In the FIR filed under Section 323,504, 354 and 506(ii) of the Indian Penal Code, the actress has alleged that the accused Sam(46 ), her spouse had assaulted and even slapped her besides threatening her with dire consequences over a ‘personal dispute’.

As per the officials the incident happened in Canacona village in South Goa where Pandey is currently shooting for a film.

Poonam and Sam, who were in a live-in relationship for around two years, got married on September 10 this year at their home in Bandra with only their close friends and family members in attendance.Poonam Pandey announced her marriage with Sam on her official account on Instagram.

Earlier in May, Poonam was detained by the Mumbai Police for violating lockdown rules. According to the police, She and Sam had traveled all the way from Bandra to Marine Drive from the road without a valid reason.Both of them were given notices and were allowed to leave the police station.

Poonam Pandey is known for her work in the Hindi, Kannada, and Telegu Film industry.
