Amid witnessing such backlash Eros now deleted their post from social media and shared a new post where it says that ” We at Eros love and respect our culture equally. It is not, and it has never been, our intention to hurt anyone’s emotions. We have deleted the concerned posts and we apologize for having offended anyone’s sentiments.”

It is hard to understand why someone would want to share pick up lines on a festival that centers around worshipping the goddess.

Eros now named after the Greek God of love has taken things a bit too far with its overtly sexual pick up lines for Navratri, So backlash was inevitable. Eros might merely have been trying to be funny but it’s clear that it’s joking hasn’t gone down well on social media.
