Great Initiative: Wasting food in Telangana Restaurant will lead you to pay fine..!!

The Kedhari Food Court in Warangal, Telangana fines people who leave plates with half-eaten food. The eating joint is becoming  popular not only for the food they serve, but also for the “no food waste” policy by the promoter Lingala Kedari.

The hotel has display boards which cautions it’s customers that those leaving food in their plate will have to pay Rs.50.

Mr. Kedari has been imposing fine from the past two-years and has collected Rs 14,000 till now, he wants to donate the money to an orphanage.

“Nowadays, people who come to my place know what the rules are and a lot many people have reduced wasting food”, said Kedari.

He also announced that he is ready to pay penalty if the people do not like the food at his place. He further added that, to his surprise, after this announcement, many people came and his business grew.
