Information about his death has been shared by his son Faisal Patel by tweeting. He wrote, ‘It is very sad to say that my father Ahmed Patel passed away at 3.30 am on 25 November. He was found corona positive about a month ago. After this, his condition deteriorated. Many of his body parts stopped working. I pray to all well-wishers to follow the COVID-19 protocol.’
Significantly, Ahmed Patel was infected with the Coronavirus in the first week of October. He was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram after his health deteriorated. However, on 18 November, the daughter of Ahmed Patel shared the information that her father’s health was improving. Patel’s daughter Mumtaz gave this information through an audio message.
