Children of armed forces to get relaxation from exam norms, says CBSE

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday announced that the children of armed forces will get relax norms for exams.

The exemption is given only to the children of military and paramilitary force personnel who are fighting terrorism and left wing extremist and are killed during their duty. The information was written in a circular issued by Sanyam Bharadwaj, controller of exam (CBSE).

The circular read, “if their wards wish to change their examination center in the same city, they will be allowed to do so. If they missed their practical examinations, the same would be conducted as part their convenience by April 10, 2019 by their school”.

The circular further read that if students wish to appear in any of the subject exam, then they can request their school in this regard. The school will then send the request to the regional CBSE office for taking any action before February 28.

The Central Board of Secondary For class 10th will held from February 21 to March 29, while that of class 12th exams will held from February 15 to April 4.
