The underlying structure was not an Islamic structure: Supreme Court on Ayodhya Verdict

The most awaited and controversial judgement of the last few decades has come to a final end. Each and everyone across the country having fingers crossed is waiting for the final judgement to arrive. The judgement has been scheduled to 10:30 AM by the bench of five supreme court justice.

Pointers on Ayodhya verdict by CJI Ranjan Gogoi:

A suitable plot of land measuring 5 acres shall be given to Sunni Waqf Board either by the state or by the Centre.

Under Article 142, SC directs in the scheme to be framed, Nirmohi Akhara to also get representation.

Land to remain vested in statutory receiver till trust is formed.

Trust to be formed in three months.

Management of construction of the temple to be monitored by the trust.

“There is adequate material in the ASI report to conclude the following: Babri Masjid not constructed on vacant land. There was a structure underlying the disputed structure. The underlying structure was not an Islamic structure, Supreme Court,” Bar and Bench tweeted.

“Politicians provoking politics of hatred and the media channels that provoke people day and night to maintain their restraint tomorrow, do not hollow out the foundation of humanity in the race for power and TRP. We all belong to same country so don’t be in fear or let any fear,” Kanhaiya Kumar tweeted.

“The Ayodhya episode, that is, the wait for the decision in respect of the Ramjanmabhoomi-Babri Masjid ownership dispute has come to an end, on which the verdict is going to be pronounced by the Honorable Supreme Court today. Appeal again to all people to accept the court’s decision and respect it and maintain peace,” BSP Supremo Mayawati tweeted.
