Ayodhya Ram Mandir: RSS calls Ram temple a symbol of cultural nationalism.

Senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh official Dattatreya Hosabale said that the Ram temple in Ayodhya would be a symbol of cultural nationalism in the country. He said that its construction is not just a religious matter. Along with the construction of the temple, there will be both Ram and Roti. The RSS official also said that Rama means cultural, social, and spiritual development of the country and roti means its economic development.

Underlining that the temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, is not just a religious matter, the Union Sah Sarkaryavah said that it is a cultural awakening for the country. Ram temple will be a symbol of national culture in the country.

The country has long suffered from the English mentality. Emphasizing that temple construction is the cultural account of the government, he said that some people are trying to project it as administrative accountability for their political gains. On politics, Hosable said that he should keep in mind that nationalism and cultural nationalism cannot be suppressed in the name of secularism.

Expecting the construction of the temple to usher in a new era of cultural nationalism in the country, he said that once the temple is built, the values and principles of the King of Ayodhya in the country will replace the Western mentality. He made this comment on the occasion of the release of the history book of the Ram Janmabhoomi movement written by Arun Anand.
