Amid high speculations on Ranbir-Alia wedding, New report claims wedding get postponed

March 12, 2022 (New Delhi): Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding is the epicentre for various media channels and common citizens. According to so many reports, the wedding can take place in the second week of April. However, according to a new report Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding has been postponed due to security reasons. Amid speculations, some news agencies are allegedly talking about the postponement of much talked marriage of this year.

However, After so much hype and preparation, Alia’s half-brother Rahul Bhatt, in an interview on Tuesday, clarified that the wedding is now not happening on April 14 and there are no functions on April 13 either. Earlier, Alia’s uncle Robin Bhatt had told media that a mehendi function was set for April 13. The wedding is allegedly taking place at the Kapoor family home in Chembur. The house has been decorated in the past few days and security arrangements have also been put in place.

FYI, Ranbir and Alia have decided to change their wedding date since the details about the venue as the date of their wedding have been leaked in the press. The publication quoted Alia’s half-brother Rahul Bhatt as saying, “The wedding is happening, it is known to all. But there is no wedding on April 13 or 14. That is a sure thing.” He said the wedding date will be announced soon and it will happen by April 20. Earlier, Rahul Bhatt had said that 200 bouncers have been hired for the special day. It was earlier reported that Ranbir and Alia will host a mehendi ceremony on April 13, followed by haldi ceremony in the first half of April 14.
