Watch Amit Shah mimics Rahul Gandhi in the at a public rally in Bidar

As the battle for Karnataka heats up, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah on Monday mimicked Congress president Rahul Gandhi at a public rally in Bidar. Shah said that Rahul is questioning Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s four-year tenure but the country wants to know “what you did for four generations”.

“Abhi-abhi Rahul baba Karnataka mei ghoom rahe the. Aur bade zor-zor se bol rahe the ‘Modi ji, batao aapne chaar saal mei kya kiya’. Aree Rahul baba kyu itna chilla rahe ho. Aap hume puch rahe ho ki Modi ji ne chaar saal mei kya kiya, humara hisaab maang rahe ho. Rahul baba iss desh ki janta aapke paas chaar peedi ka hisaab maang rahi hai. (Modi ji, tell us what you did in four years. He keeps on asking loudly what Prime Minister Narendra Modi did in four years. You are asking us what Modi ji did in four years? India wants to know what you did for four generations)” Shah said

He added that the saffron party had started off with merely 10 members but now stood as the largest political party in the world with 11 crore members.

Hitting out at the Congress government in Karnataka, Shah said, “Congress in Karnataka has broken all the records of corruption. Our party does not win due to big leaders but because of booth karyakartas (workers),” Shah stated.

He added that the Siddaramaiah-led government in Karnataka has ‘completely failed’ in the past five years with respect to law and order and situation.

Shah asserted that his party would rule the state after the upcoming assembly election.

Karnataka is one of the few states, where the Congress party is in power.

The Karnataka Legislative Assembly election is scheduled to be held in April-May this year to elect members of the 224 constituencies in the state.
