Team India drops out of form Vijay Shankar: Mayank Agarwal to take charge

Due to serious injury in toe, Vijay Shankar has been alienated from the world cup 2019.

As Mayank Agrawal is all ready to replace Vjay Shankar, BCCI may request ICC, for the replacement of the Indian cricketer.

“Vijay got hit on the toe by a Jasprit Bumrah delivery once again. His situation is not great and he won’t be able to take part in the tournament. He is going back home,” a senior BCCI official expressed.

“Vijay Shankar has a toe niggle, Rishabh Pant is in. He brings in a lot of fearlessness. Once he gets to 20, then he’s unstoppable,” Kohli had said.
Vijay had injured his toe after being hit by a Jasprit Bumrah yorker in the nets.

The match with England, revealed us that the player had toe injury and the signs are not too decent, as expressed by Virat Kohli.

At the evening duration of the match , Virat Kohli showed a humble gesture by appreciating Vijay Shankar.
He said, “So you can’t really sit down and pinpoint things. But I personally felt that he (Shankar) looked really solid. There’s not much that needs to be tinkered with. Sometimes in cricket you just need a bit of luck to get over from 30 to 60, and then you play a defining knock for the team. He’s very close to that, and we’re very confident that he’s going to end up playing that kind of knock for us.”

We cannot ignore the fact which actually deserves great amount of appreciation. The fact is that he took two wickets against Pakistan and made 15 runs against it(not out).

As far as the small insight about him, is concerned,
Vijay Shankar (born 26 January 1991) is an Indian cricketer who plays for the Indian national cricket team. He is an all-rounder who bats right-handed and bowls right-arm medium pace.
