Presenting Atum 1.0 !! An Electric Café- Racer Motorbike launched in India: Prices start from Rs. 50,000

Atumobiles Pvt. Ltd. is a Hyderabad based startup which makes the electric two- wheelers has launched their first electric motorcycle, Atum 1.0 in the market. The electric motorcycle will be available across all India with the starting price of Rs. 50,000. Hence, it is the cheapest electric bike in the world as of now and is suitable for all age groups including teenagers and young adults.

Atum 1.0 has been certified by International Centre of Automotive Technology (ICAT) as a low- speed electric two- wheeler, for the commercial purpose.

As it is a low- speed vehicle, Atum 2.0 does not need any registration or paperwork during the purchase as there is no requirement for the driving license of the rider. It is perfectly suitable and safe for 13- 17- year old teenagers for their daily commute.

The two- wheeler is powered by a 48V 250W electric motor, paired with a portable lithium- ion battery pack. The electric powertrain offers a range of 100 km per battery charge. The top speed of the bike is limited to 25 km/h.

The lithium- ion battery takes the maximum 4 hours to charge itself and can be charged with anywhere using a standard 3- pin socket, which is almost like charging a smartphone.

The Atum 1.0 also comes with some amazing features like LED headlamps, LED taillights, LED turn indicators, stylish café- racer designs, comfortable seats, go- anywhere fat tyres, digital display for the instrument console and best- in- class ground clearance of 280 mm. Such features make this bike a best offer for any Indian consumer.

Atumobiles also claimed that their bike Atum 1.0 gives a very cost- effective offering as it consumes only 1 unit per charge, which is equal to Rs 7 to Rs 10 per day per 100 kilometres. Whereas ICE engine costs close to Rs 80- 100 for the same range.
