PM MODI addresses his monthly #ManKiBaat

PM Narendra Modi delivered his ‘Mann ki Baat’ and addressed the nation at 11 a.m. today. He praised individuals who helped with relief efforts in the aftermath of Cyclone Tauktae and Cyclone Yaas. PM Modi also hailed those who stepped forward to aid with the relief and rescue efforts.

He also tweeted saying ‘India has been fighting COVID-19 but at the same time, the nation has witnessed a few natural disasters too. In the last ten days the western and eastern coast saw two cyclones. #MannKiBaat

Along with this, he also spoke on his government’s seventh anniversary, saying that the country has embraced the mantra of “sabka saath, sabka vikas, sabka vishwas” throughout this time. He stated that there have been numerous instances of national pride.

PM Modi spoke with a liquid oxygen tanker driver, a lady train driver, and an air force officer who are all participating in the transportation of oxygen and related equipment to highlight how hard these individuals work to ensure that oxygen reaches someone in need.

He also stated that “The production of liquid oxygen has increased by 10 times. Our corona warriors are delivering them to every corner of the country. When the pandemic started, there were few tests everyday, but now there are around 20 lakh tests being conducted every day.”

He also thanked the front line workers.
