Prime Minister Narendra Modi on wednesday announced that DRDO has established a landmark in field of science by developing an Anti-sattelite that is capable of shooting a live sattelite. Congress president Rahul Gandhi congratulated DRDO and took a jibe at Narendra Modi by saying “Our PM occupied more than an hour of air time of all indian news channels. He further wished ‘Happy World Theater day’ for taking the credit of DRDO scientist.

BSP Supremo Mayawati Tweeted “I congratulate DRDO and ISRO for developing an Anti-sattelite defence system in nation strength. This invention will surely lead to enhance the country’s pride. She targeted Narendra Modi for taking credit for something that doesn’t belong to you for political profit is shame. “

Trinamool congress supremo Mamata Banergee tweeted ” Today’s announcement is yet another limitless drama and publicity mongering by Modi desperately trying to reap political benefits at the time of election. This is a gross violation of Model Code of Conduct.”

She further tweeted “There is no great urgency in conducting and announcing the mission now by a government past its expiry date. It seems a desperate oxygen to save the imminent sinking of the BJP boat. We are lodging a complaint with the Election Commission.”
