In his 41st Mann Ki Baat edition, PM Modi remembers CV Raman and the use of Science and Technology

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed his 41st Mann ki Baat at 11 am on Sunday where he focussed on Nobel Prize winner CV Raman and the importance of science and technology. The 41st edition of his monthly radio address was aired on All India Radio and DD News channel — both State broadcasters.

Incidentally, 28 February is also celebrated as National Science Day in India.

The monthly radio address was also streamed on the prime minister’s official website, the YouTube channel and the Narendra Modi mobile application.

Like in the previous cases, Mann ki Baat had received several suggestions from the common man. Like in January, this time too Congress president Rahul Gandhi pitched in with his ideas for the address.

Rahul on Wednesday attacked Modi over his silence on the PNB bank fraud and the Rafale deal, saying sarcastically that he looked forward to his “sermon” on the issues in his “Mann ki Baat” programme.

Rahul also labelled the prime minister’s programme aired on All India Radio a monologue and said the country wants to hear him speak on billionaire diamond jeweller Nirav Modi and the Rafale “scam”.
