“Even though there was no physical harm but had to go through mental harrassment” – Abhinandan

After being captured for nearly two days in Pakistan, Abhinandan Varthaman revealed that even though they didn’t harm him physically but a lot of mental torture was faced by him. The time spent in Pakistan was not good.

Abhinandan was held captive by Pakistan army on 27th of February and was released on the night of 1st March. The video of him with Pakistani army  of the investigation where he bravely said “sorry, I am not supposed to tell you this” is what making every Indian proud.

“After returning from Pakistan, wing commander Abhinandan Varthaman informed that though he was not physically tortured by the pakistanis; he went through a lot of mental harassment”, ANI reported.

According to the reports, the MiG 21 pilot was attacked and he ejected from the jet and landed in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) and was held captive by Pakistan.

On the day of his release, Pakistan delayed it as much as they can. Later the reason behind the delay was that they took few videos of wing commander Abhinandan praising Pakistan officials. The video was later telecasted on Pakistan news channels for propaganda.
