No Fear No Favour

“Don’t be scared” says Venkara Raghav, a coronavirus survivor.

Amid turbulent times when coronavirus panic has gripped the globe, Venkara Raghava, a Bengaluru resident who recovered from novel coronavirus has said that there is nothing to be scared of in COVID-19. Raghava, who most likely got infected when he was in transit at Heathrow, is fully recovered and his family has tested negative for coronavirus.

According to Raghava, he had a fever on March 8, when he landed at Bangaluru. “I isolated myself. The same day I went to a hospital where my travel history was taken and I was tested positive for COVID19. Next day, I was admitted to the isolation centre. My entire family was tested negative,”  he further said.

“I am doing perfectly well now. I had travelled to Los Angeles via Heathrow airport, that is when I came in contact with many travellers. I might have picked up the infection there,” he said.

“COVID19 is like regular viral fever, nothing to be scared of. At the isolation centre one has to take care of themselves, unlike at the hospital where doctors and nurses take care of the patient,” Raghava was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.
