Suresh Raina has already announced his retirement from all the formats of International Cricket along with former captain of Indian Cricket Team and his CSK teammate MS Dhoni.

Raina has made an unbroken record of scoring 5,368 runs for CSK and second highest in overall IPL after Virat Kohli who scored 5,412 runs and was the first fielder in IPL to take 100 catches.

CSK is indeed facing a lot of challenges even before the tournament has started. On Friday 28th August, ten of the staff members and a pacer of the franchise has been tested COVID-19 Positive. As the result, the entire team was told to stop the preparations of the tournament and their quarantine period has been extended till September 1.
