Chennai airport officials detain man wearing condom containing heroin

Authorities at the Chennai International Airport on Wednesday detained a man who was carrying 100gm of heroin concealed inside a condom that he was wearing.
According to official sources, CISF guards at the airport apprehended the man who was travelling to Colombo.
“While checking, they found that the pelvic area was unusually large. When they checked, they found that he had concealed the heroin inside a condom he was wearing. It was held by a rubber band,” an official said.

The accused was working as a storekeeper at an engineering college in Chennai, the official said.

The case has been handed over to customs who are likely to file the case.
