June 8, 2022 (New Delhi): Apollo Fertility Centre, Part of Apollo Health & Lifestyle and Apollo Hospitals Group announced the launch of its most recent standalone, flagship fertility centre in Lajpat Nagar, Delhi in order to make a difference in the society while breaking taboos related to infertility issues and to manage their inability to conceive. During the time of inaugration Ashwani Kumar (IAS Officer), Kriti Garg, District Magistrate West Delhi, Madan Mohit Bhardwaj, Founder of the SheWings Foundation, Anubhav Prashant, COO, Apollo Fertility and Dr. Sweta Gupta, Senior Consultant Reproductive Medicine & In vitro fertilization (IVF), Apollo Fertility were present at the time of launch.

Apollo fertility centres are providing fertilty facilities and their centres are extending to the extent of across 8500 sq. ft. Also, it is one of the first IVF labs with class 100 OT and laminar air flow to ensure superior clean air for embryos. The trained team of veteran and erudite clinical and embryologists, having a combined experience of over 6000 IVF cases, are committed to offering world class services.

While inaugurating the fertility centre, Dr. Sweta Gupta, said, “According to The Indian Society of Assisted Reproduction, infertility currently affects about 10-14% of Indians, with higher rates in urban areas, where one out of six couples is impacted. Many couples who want to start a family and are unable to conceive, experience psychological and interpersonal distress that negatively impacts their quality of life. During the time of launch, IAS Officer Ashwani Kumar expressed his valuable thoughts, ”Infertility is not a only a female problem. 15 % couples want to have a baby but are unable to have naturally so We need to be more educated about reproductive health.” Also, West Delhi DM Kriti Garg eloquently said, ”People shall be more careful for their reproductive health. Apollo has done a great job in the healthcare sector.”

Mr. Madan Mohit Bharadwaj, Founder of SheWings expressed his thoughts on the issue and said, “Infertility is not a Taboo anymore, don’t blame women if they don’t conceive.
