#BoycottZomato is now shifted to #BoycottMcDonald’s on Twitter: Know why

Zomato was making headlines for a long time regarding Hindu-Muslim religion. At the same time, McDonald’s India is badly trapped between these two religions. McDonald’s India is giving halal meat to people, due to which the company has come into controversy and on Twitter highly.

A user asked McDonalds India “Is Mc Donald’s in India halal certified?” McDonald India responded by writing, Thank you for taking the time to contact McDonald’s India. We truly appreciate this opportunity to respond to your comments. The meat that we use, across our restaurants, is of the highest quality and is sourced from government-approved suppliers who are HACCP certified.

In their next Mc Donalds write “All our restaurants have HALAL certificates. You can ask the respective restaurant Managers to show you the certificate for your satisfaction and confirmation.”

After this tweet from McDonald’s India, social media users started boycotting McDonald’s India. One user wrote that Muslims are only 18% of the population in our country and in their affair, you are feeding us halal meat, while another user wrote that it is wrong to kill animals unnecessary. At the same time, a user wrote that we Hindus only eat jhatka meat. Let me tell you the difference between Jhatka meat and Halal meat. In the halal meat, process animal is bitten slowly, during which it suffers a lot of pain. This process is only valid in Islam. And at the same time, during the Jhatka meat process, the animal is bitten with Jhatka.
