As Alok Verma is set to acquire the charge of CBI director in coming days, the post of Delhi’s powerful position is vacant. To fill the post, new names are being provided to centre. And in coming days, the post may see new Police Commissioner of Delhi

Present Commissioner of Police, Delhi, is set to change his address; speculations are being made on 1985 batch pass out I.P.S Amulya Patnaik.

Currently, Amulya Patnaik is heading over to the charge of Special Commissioner of Police, Delhi. However, the race for the C.P is also seeing a new name, Deepak Mishra, who was 1984 pass out, and senior to Amulya Patnaik.

Amulya Patnaik has many achievements in his name. During his tenure, he took on the charge to arrest an accuse in connection with the Mumbai blast case. He had also solved a kidnapping case in less than 12 hours.
