Actor Rakhi Sawant Arrested In Mumbai By Punjab Police.

Trouble for Rakhi Sawant seems not to settle down anytime soon. The Punjab Police left Mumbai to execute the arrest of the controversial TV and Bollywood actress Rakhi Sawant after her derogatory comments on Valmiki. Taking the matter to their hand, Punjab local court summoned the actress on March 9 to appear before the court.

The complainants had accused Sawant of hurting religious sentiments of the Valmiki community by her remarks on a TV show. The case will be next heard on April 10.

After her arrest warrant was issued, Rakhi Sawant says, “I am not Salman Khan, I am Rakhi Sawant. You won’t get anything by putting charges on me. I am a simple girl who does social work and works in movies”
