Imagine you’re playing pick-up basketball in a neon,’80-themed video game complete with brightly coloured walls and mind blending geometric designs instead of a random blacktop court.
That’s the reality at one street in Paris. The court is sandwiched between a pair of apartment buildings, and, with support from Nike, has been completely redecorated with a brand new, snazzy aesthetic look.
Riding the court of its traditional blocks of primary colours, space has been covered with gradients of fuschia, dark blue, canary yellow and burnt orange with the floor being made over with a vibrant grape colour.
Even the basketball net has been jazzed up with a bright pink base.
