Good News ‘Noida walas’. The City To Get Its First Bike Taxi Service After The Assembly Elections.

Gates have now opened for Noida “walas” to get their first Bike Taxi service after the results of assembly elections are declared on 11 of this month. After Gurgaon, Baxi is all set to introduce the first Bike Taxi service in Noida, following the green signal from Regional Transport Authority.

Baxi is a private run company, owned by 74 BC Technologies Private Limited and promoted by Ashutosh Johri and Manu Rana, both are alumni of IIT Delhi. Gurgaon was the first to get the service in India.

Company officials says, “Initially, 10 bikes will be stationed at Noida City Centre, and subsequently, the number of bikes will be increased across the city.”

“The rates will also be reasonable. It will cost the Noida Walas only 15 rupees for a 1.5-kilometer ride.” added the company official.

The Bike Taxi service is widely appreciated in many foreign countries like China, Thailand among many others. The experiment also worked well in India. Baxi is extending their service in Noida after the success on the backdrop of six lakh rides completed in the streets of Gurgaon.

“The feedback was satisfactory, we are hopeful of providing quality service to our customers. After covering the metro stations we will try to make our service accessible to the whole city of Noida. Our pilots (drivers) are well trained. They will carry helmets and hairnets for the co-riders with them. Customer safety is our priority. Our drivers will be in uniforms so that they can be spotted very easily from a distance. We will try to cover areas where there is less access to public transport. The number of Bikes will rise rapidly in the next few months.” Ashutosh Johri, the Managing Director of the Company said.

You can book your bike on ‘Baxi’ mobile app or can ask for a ride if you can spot any bike nearby.
The Baxi service will come as a blessing for the people of Noida. Now, you can escape a tiring journey by auto. Just book your bike and leave the traffic.
