Television Actor Karan Wahi on Wednesday said that he has been receiving abusive messages, abusive content, and death threats after he uploaded a social media story about Naga Sadhus in Kumbh Mela amid the Coronavirus pandemic.
Taking to his Instagram Story Karan Wahi wrote, “Isn’t there a Work From Home culture for Naga Babas? Like get water from Ganga and take a shower at home #justcurious #kumbhmela.
Karan Wahi was referring to Naga Babas converged at Har ki Pairi in Haridwar for a holy dip in the Ganga in the course of the Shahi Snan of the Kumbh Mela this week which is resulting in a spike in Covid-19 instances throughout Haridwar.
However, his comments on Naga Babas and Kumbh Mela didn’t go effectively with the Netizens and so they slammed him for ‘hurting Hindu Sentiments ‘.Many used abusive language and gave him death threats while many asked him to ‘delete his propaganda story against Naga Babas’.
The Remix actor Karan Wahi shared several screenshots where we can see people abusing him and dropping hate comments. Some people also gave him death threats which were quite shocking to seem.
