‘Jayeshbhai Jordar’ starring Ranveer Singh poster out.

Ranveer Singh is all set to play Gujarati Bhai in his upcoming film title ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’, this will indeed be a character for him. Ranveer is known for his chameleon-style, be it Khilji in Padmavat or Ram in Ram-Leela, he has always collected the love and appreciation from his fans.

Now once again Ranveer Singh takes a totally different avatar for his next ‘Jayeshbhai Jordar’. Ranveer has transformed himself again for this movie, he has lost kilos in order to look perfect for the role. The actor’s first look from the movie has been unveiled today, in which he seems to have shed weight. Ranveer can be seen wearing an orange, polo neck T-Shirt with print and faded black jeans, with a wavy hairstyle. He can be seen as protecting women, who have covered their faces with veils.

On being asked about his character Ranveer says “As Charlie Chaplin once said: “To truly laugh you must be able to take your pain and play with it.” Jayesh Bhai is an unlikely hero, an ordinary man, who ends up doing something extraordinary when he’s hurled into a threatening situation. He is sensitive and compassionate, and believes in equal rights between men and women in a society that is deeply rooted in particular ideals and practices.”

The actor further said that JayeshBhai has brought “exciting challenges” for him in terms of “deconstructing myself in order to transform into a kind of character I’ve never inhabited before”.

The film is directed by Divyang Thakkar and produced by Yash Raj Studios.
