New Delhi: During the ongoing Budget session on Wednesday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi while addressing the Lok Sabha lashes out at BJP and questions the ruling party. Not just BJP, Gandhi even blamed President, Judiciary, Election Commission and other agencies for biases, misuse and wrongdoings. He further said, “There exist Two India’s now.”
Rahul Gandhi focused on the major problem of unemployment which youngsters of India are facing today. He said that the problem of unemployment in the country is the worst in 50 years. He emphasized that there are two Indias now, with the increasing gap between the rich and the poor ever widening. Rahul Gandhi eloquently said, there are two India’s existing today, one is for ultra rich and another for ultra poor. He also presented the fact that 3 crore people in India lost their precious jobs in 2021 when government was promising them jobs.
Gandhi also questioned the Presidential address for not touching any major issues that the country is facing today. “There was not a single word on unemployment in the Presidential Address. The youth across the country is looking for jobs. Your government is unable to provide them with one. You speak of providing employment, 3 crore youth lost their jobs in 2021. Today India is facing highest amount of unemployment in 50 years. You talk of Make in India, Start-Up India, but youth did not get the unemployment they were supposed to,” Gandhi said.
While questioning central government’s International diplomacy, Gandhi said that the central government has made a fundamental mistake in its foreign policy which brought Pakistan and China together. “This is the single biggest sin you have committed against the people of India. China has a clear-cut plan which they have implemented in Doklam and Ladakh. This is a very serious threat to the Indian nation. We have made a huge strategic mistake in our foreign policy,” he added.
Rahul Gandhi also told the ruling party in his parliamentary address that India is not a Kingdom, it is a union of states. He further emphasized on what is written in our constitution and said that every states in India deserve same rights. He also emphasized on giving more support to manufacturing, unorganised sector, MSMEs and small scale business as they are the only hope for creating more jobs for youngsters. He further attacked BJP for focusing more on top businessman’s like Gautam Adani and Ambani, said, they will not fulfill the idea of “Make In India” but they are the small businessman who will be doing it.
Rahul Gandhi clearly took a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying “The King does not listen to anybody.”Gandhi further added, “There are two visions. One vision – India is a union of states. It is a partnership, not a kingdom. You will never ever rule over the people of the states of India. It has never been done in 3,000 years. The second vision is ruling India with a stick. A centralised vision. Congress smashed the idea of a king in 1947, but now that has come back. All institutions are being attacked. The farmers do not have a voice in your vision. He said that the government today is fiddling with something very dangerous.
Rahul Gandhi also said,” I know something about the idea of India because blood has been sacrificed for this country, not by me but by my family members. My father was blown into bits.” The Judiciary, the Election Commission, Pegasus, these are all instruments of destroying the voice of the union of states,” says Congress MP Rahul Gandhi in Lok Sabha.
However, after his speech , BJP ministers are now attacking Rahul Gandhi and some says that he lost his mind while speaking in the parliament. Many BJP ministers are now attacking Congress and Rahul Gandhi including Kiren Rijiju and Foreign External Affairs Minister, S Jaishankar.
