Whole world is mourning on the death of General Bipin Rawat ,one of the most decorated officer of India

Condolence over demise of chief of defense Gen Bipin Rawat is poured from not only India but from different parts of the world including China, Russia, US and Pakistan. According to the Air Force, Gen Rawat, his wife Madulika along with 11 other people on board and Indian Air Force helicopter died in crash near Connor, Tamil Nadu on Wednesday.

US Embassy extended it’s deepest condolences to Rawat family and families of those who perished in the crash. The US mission said in a statement that role of Gen Bipin Rawat was very important during the historic of transformation in Indian Military. He was good friend and partner of US who helped in major expansion of India’s defense military with US military.

Chinese ambassador to India Sun Weidong extended “Deep condolences on sad demise of CDS Gen Rawat, his wife and other victims killed helicopter crash. My sympathy goes to all family members of Gen Bipin Rawat.”

Prime Minister of Nepal Sher Bahadur Deuba expressed his sadness over the tragic demise of Gen Rawat by saying “My heartfelt condolences to bereaved families and Indian Armed Forces.”British High Commissioner tweeted Alex Ellis also condoled Gen Rawat’s demise and hailed him a wise man and brave soldier.


“Tragic News Gen Rawat was a brave soldier, pioneer and a generous host to me only weeks ago. We mourn to his death and that of his wife and all were killed in this terrible accident.” Ellis tweeted. He also tweeted his condolences in Hindi too. The helicopter carrying Gen Rawat and his entourage crashed in foggy conditions killing 13 people and only one person named Varun Singh survived after this crash and now he hospitalized in very serious condition.
