Pakistan on Thursday said that they will release IAF pilot Abhinandan Varthaman on Friday. This announcement was made by Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan who made this statement during joint session in parliament.
Wing commander Abhinandan Varthaman was arrested when a fierce engagement between two borders along the LOC took place. Where Abhinandan who was the pilot of MiG 21 fighter jet was captured by Pakistan.
Imran Khan announced that the Indian pilot who was captured on Wednesday will be released on Friday as a “peace gesture”, he further added that this gesture should not be misunderstood as Pakistan is getting scared. Wing Commander Abhinandan will be handed over to India at Wagha Border.
This statement came after India on Thursday warned Pakistan not to cause any harm to the commander Abhinandan and asked for his immediate release. People in India are celebrating this news and are waiting for the commander with arms opens wide.
