March 8, 2022 (New Delhi) : On Tuesday, Ukrainian Civilians started leaving besieged areas of Irpin near Kyiv after Russia opened “humanitarian corridors” for them, but Kyiv said Russian forces had shelled an evacuation route from the port city of Mariupol. According to reports, 21 civilians, including two children, had been killed in a Russian air strike on a residential street in the Sumy region late on Monday.
After Russian Aggression, residents began leaving the northeastern city of Sumy and the town of Irpin near the capital Kyiv. Also Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Oleg Nikolenko reported shelling near Mariupol. He informed on Twitter , “Ceasefire violated! Russian forces are now shelling the humanitarian corridor from (nearby) Zaporizhzhia to Mariupol.” Ukrainian Officials reported that civilians have been trapped by fighting since Russian troops invaded Ukraine on February 24 and officials says food, water and other basic supplies have been running low in some cities.
Amid Russian Aggression and Shelling, Residents of “Kharkiv” signed a petition for a no-fly zone above Ukraine from the metro station where they are forced to live due to Russian bombardments. But to the contrary, Russia is attacking Ukraine by artillery use. And this war is much more about intelligence and weapons not just air strike. Amid Russia’s Aggression and War in Ukraine, Putin has tighten grip on the ‘media coverage’ in Russia. And many journalists of Russia resigned ‘on-air’ after saying “No To War”.
Civilians have been trapped by fighting since Russian troops invaded Ukraine on Feb. 24, and officials say food, water and other supplies have been running low in some cities. According to some correspondents who are covering the Ukraine- Russia crisis, Some buses have managed to leave the city, but this likely disrupted the evacuation process for the people in Ukraine. Russia has declared another ‘ceasefire’ and says a string of humanitarian corridors have been opened. Also, Moscow says evacuees will be allowed to travel to safer places in Ukraine after Kyiv rejected an earlier plan to funnel civilians to Russia and Belarus. It’s been thirteen days of the war and situation is becoming worst on humanitarian grounds. No conclusion can be drawn out so far from the Russia- Ukraine War. But this war has taken so many innocent lives.
