In the biggest sex toy theft in history, more than adult toys worth British Pounds 45,000 (approximately 38 lakh) were stolen from a trade fair in Berlin earlier this week.

German police are hoping to get hold of the thieves who stole the kinky toys from the exhibition. Fun Toys London who had a stand at the annual Venus-Berlin exhibition were packing up when the boxes were stolen. The brand also fears that the thieves will sell the toys to unwitting customers. Fun Toys representative Jack Romanski in a Facebook post has hit out at the organizers of Venus-Berlin exhibition for being non-cooperative and unhelpful during the fiasco.
Talking about the theft, Fun Toys representative, Jack Romanski said in a Facebook post, “When we arrived to load products into the truck, we saw … that all of the Fun Toy products, worth over $60,000 had been stolen. When our representative (Marco Tortoni) was away for 5 minutes to meet the police at the entrance, another four boxes were stolen! This is the largest recorded theft of sex toys in history.” The post further reads, “Only the brochures, bags and two boxes with testers were left.”
Further detailing how the company did not receive any help from the event organizers, the company representatives writes, “We can’t understand how the representative of Venus-Berlin could have been absent on the fairground on Monday. Unfortunately, the managers organizing the fair were not helpful at all. We still have not received a record from video cameras and any other help in the course of the investigation. The representative of Venus-Berlin did not show up at the scene after the accident. The only thing we managed to receive from the organizers on the next day is the contacts of the contractor who set up the stand.’
