1. Guru Randhawa, Suresh Raina, and Sussanne Khan charged among 34 in a police raid.

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Guru Randhawa, Former Indian batsman Suresh Raina, and actor Hrithik Roshan’s ex- wife Sussanne Khan got arrested in a raid along with 34 other people for violating COVID- 19 precautions at Mumbai club named Dragonfly at Andheri (East).

They were booked under Section 188 (Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant), 269 (whoever unlawfully or negligently does any act which is, and which he knows or has reason to believe to be, likely to spread the infection of any disease dangerous to life), 34 (Acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of IPC and provisions of NMDANMDA, said the officer.

2. Father and Nun found guilty in Sister Abhaya murder case after 28 years.

Thiruvananthapuram: The CBI Court in Kerala has pronounced the final verdict in 28 years old Sister Abhaya murder case on Tuesday December 22, 2020. Father Thomas Kattoor and Sister Sephy who are the priest and the Nun of the Catholic Church found guilty of murder in the case.

The findings of the court will be known after the full copy of the judgement is released. Special CBI judge Sanal Kumar will hear the convicts on the sentence on 23 December.

3. Antarctica has recorded its first ever Coronavirus cases.

Antarctica has recorded its first cases of COVID- 19, becoming the last continent to be infected by the virus.

At least 36 people have been tested positive at Chilian research base, including members of the Chilian Army, reports said. Those who are infected have been evacuated to Chile’s Punta Arenas and reportedly quarantined.

The orbital paths of the two huge planets ensure great conjunctions every 20 years, but many are impossible to see with the naked eye because they happen during the daytime. Great conjunctions happen when Jupiter, which laps the sun in a shade under 12 years, and Saturn, which orbits every 29.5 years, come into near alignment with the Earth. It will be 2080 before the planets align so closely again.
