  1. “Punjab’s 26/11”: Sukhbir Badal on Farmers Protest.

Chandigarh: Shiromani Akali Dal Chief Sukhbir Singh Badal on Thursday blasted on Haryana Government for trying to control “Chalo Dilli” March by farmers who are against the new agricultural bill passed by the Central Government and also called it “Punjab’s 26/11”.

“Today is Punjab’s 26/11. We are witnessing the end of the right to democratic protest. @Akali_Dal condemns the Haryana govt & Centre for choosing to repress the peaceful farmer movement,” tweeted Sukhbir Singh Badal whose party broke off an alliance with the ruling BJP over the new laws.

2. 3 minors sent to juvenile home for insulting National Flag in Gujarat.

A 30 year old woman and three boys aged between 10-14 years caught allegedly insulting the National Flag ag Gujarat’s Anand. After that the woman was sent to jail while the minors were sent to juvenile home.

“The three children had hoisted the national flag, where instead of the Ashok Chakra, a few Islamic inscriptions were drawn over it. Taking cognizance, an FIR was lodged yesterday and we have arrested the woman at whose residence the incident took place and three juveniles have been presented at the Bal Adalat,” BD Jadeja, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Anand division, said.
