J.K.Rowling after garnering severe criticism earlier has wreaked havoc on social media once again after the release of her new book titled ‘Troubled Blood’.The once-revered Harry Potter writer has irked her fans with the release of her book which has been labeled ‘Transphobic’
Written under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith, it is the fifth of the author’s Cormoran Strike detective series which features a cross-dressing serial killer.
The plot of the novel dives into the disappearance of GP Margot Bamborough back in 1974, who was thought to be murdered by Dennis Creed, a cis man who dressed up as a woman.
JK Rowling has been accused of transphobia since June when she mocked a headline that included the inclusive phrasing “people who menstruate” and her latest book just added fuel to the fire.
The writer was berated on social media as users were out for blood trending the hashtag #RIPJKRowling on Twitter.
Rowling strongly denies being transphobic and was criticized earlier after she published a personal essay that claimed trans rights endangered other women.
