Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez break up and call off their marriage after four years of togetherness.

Jennifer Lopez and former New York Yankees baseball star Alex Rodriguez have called off their engagement on Friday.

The breakup comes nearly after Lopez admitted that the couple sought professional help last year amid the Coronavirus lockdown.

Hollywood’s most talked couple Lopez and Rodriguez had been a couple of four years and had just bought a 40 million home in Miami last year

The ‘Love Don’t Cost a Thing’ singer and Rodriguez, known as A-Rod, began dating in early 2017 and announced their engagement in March 2019.

The couple was given the nickname, J-Rod, three years ago after they landed on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine.

The last time Jennifer and Rodriguez posted a photo together was last month in the Dominican Republic.

The pair faced a bump in their relationship when Southern Charm’s Madison LeCroy was accused of having an affair with Alex during the show’s reunion special in January 2021.

It was in January, during a Southern Charm Reunion preview which saw Craig Conover calling Madison’ a homewrecker, accusing her of cheating on Austen Krill by having an affair with a married ex -MLB player from Miami which was believed to be Alex.

However,The breakup has yet not confirmed by the couple but the news of their split was first reported on New York post’s Page Six, revealing that the two stars are no longer together

Lopez was previously married to Ojani Noa from 1997 to 1998, to Cris Judd from 2001 to 2003, and Marc Anthony, the father of her twins, Max and Emme, from 2004 to 2014. She was also engaged to Ben Affleck from 2002 to 2004.

Meanwhile, Rodriguez was married to Cynthia Scurtis from 2002 to 2008. They share two daughters, Natasha and Ella.
