From a very long time, Shah Rukh Khan has been keeping away from the public eye since last year when his son was allegedly arrested in the Drugs case. After veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar passed away on Sunday, Shah Rukh Khan was spotted at Shiva Ji Park to pay his tribute to the late legendary singer. This was time when Shah Rukh Khan was spotted in the public eye.

On Sunday, Shah Rukh and his manager Pooja Dadlani were seen paying their final respects to the late singer at her funeral in Mumbai’s Shivaji Park. Shah Rukh not only paid her a floral tribute but also said a prayer for her after touching her feet. And her manager Pooja Dadlani prayed for the late singer by joining her hands together.This picture is trending throughout the country and netizens are saying, “This is my India”. So many people are seeing this picture as an epitome of equality. And they ask politicians to preserve this culture of equality by not spreading hatred.

Among so many celebrities who have attended Lata Mangeshkar’s funeral were Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Vidya Balan, Ashoke Pandit and others. After these pictures and videos of the actor laying down a floral wreath at Lata’s feet and saying a prayer with his hands raised were shared online, Fans were immensely touched by his gesture. “Ek hi dil hai kitni baar jitonge khan sahab (I have just one heart. How many times will you win it),” asked one of his fan. A fan took to Twitter and wrote “He decided to go there and pay her the last tribute instead of posting anything on social media, King for a reason.” Another fan commented, “Shah Rukh is a true gentleman, he always give tribute instead of posting on social media… he is a great human being.”

Veteran Singer Lata Mangeshkar died on Sunday of post-Covid complications. She suffered a multiple organ failure on Saturday night. She was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai last month after she tested positive with Covid-19 and pneumonia diagnosis. Her condition was said to be improving but everything went wrong this weekend. She was laid to rest with full state honours. Her funeral was lit by her brother Hridaynath Mangeshkar and her sisters Asha Bhosle and Usha Mangeshkar were also present for the funeral. Local citizens were also present just to get a final look of the late legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar.
