Lisbon: Bayern Munich FC becomes the sixth time champion of UEFA Champions League 2020 by defeating Paris St Germain by the score of 1-0 at the Estadio da Luz, Lisbon in the Sunday evening game. All the credit goes to Kingsley Coman who gave a match-winning header at the 59th minute against the club which can be a breakthrough moment of his career.

This is a magnificent victory for the German Giants who has already won Bundesliga and German Cup. PSG will always regret for not taking chances that were offered up to them on the fantastic occasion at an empty Estadio da Luz. It is also an extraordinary success for Bayern’s coach Hansi Flick who was appointed last November as a replacement of the sacked Niko Kovac.

Expressing his happiness over the victory, coach Flick told Sky Germany: ”I am proud of the team. When I started in November, all the headline were about ‘no more respect for Bayern’, but the way the team has developed has been sensational.” PSG have really good forwards, but we deserved to win the final.” He added.

Brazilian footballer and one of the most expensive players Neymar Jr. Who plays as a forward for PSGs congratulated Bayern by tweeting:

However, there would be a different result if PSG’s forward player Kylian Mbappe done better than shooting straight towards Bayern’s captain Manuel Neuer just before the half-time.

“We gave all our heart on the field. You can expect that from your team, but you can’t control the result,” PSG coach Thomas Tuchel told French broadcaster RMC.
