After breaking all the records on the box-office, SS Rajamouli’s Bahubali becomes the most grossing movie till date. Earning more than Rs 600 crore, the movie is a massive hit in and outside the country. Even after the week of its release, the excitement doesn’t seem to die down very soon, at least the long queues outside the cinema halls and the house full shows speaks for the same.
Amidst the massive success of the movie, there is something Prabhas and the entire team of the film will be happy about. About, 40-odd Bahubali fans travelled to Kolkata from Dhaka by a chartered plane to watch the movie. The group managed to catch an evening show at a multiplex in south Kolkata.
“Baahubali 1 was an instant hit in Bangladesh. We were wondering why Kattappa killed Baahubali in the first instalment. We had to find the answer to the question by watching the second part,” a movie fan named Athoi Khan told to online media.
Adding further, Khan, 18, said it was Baahubali which created awareness about South Indian films among her fellow countrymen. “Most of the people in our country love Bollywood flicks. But this film opened the doors for us to South Indian films,” she said. She also said that Prabhas has a Facebook page dedicated to him in her country.
Looks like SS Rajamouli is successful in breaking one more record with his magnum opus.
