Another day, Another Glory! Meet Indian Wrestler Priya Malik, the Gold Medalist at World Cadet Wrestling Championship 2021.

Indian wrestler Priya Malik has made the nation proud with her brilliance. Priya Malik clinches the Gold Medal at World Cadet Wrestling Championship held in Budapest, Hungary.

Priya won the gold medal in the category of 73kg at the Wrestling event. Priya grabbed the gold medal against Belarus’s Kseniya Patapovich by winning the match with a 5-0 margin.

For the unversed, the Cadet World Championship is an annual event where the World’s best Freestyle, Greco Roman, and Women Wrestlers compete. This year the tournament was hosted in Budapest, Hungary. The next tournament will be held in Rome, Italy in the year 2022.

Who is Priya Malik?

Priya Malik hails from the Jind district of Haryana. She did her school studies at Chaudhary Bharat Singh Memorial Sports School Nidan. Priya’s father name is Jai Bhagwan Nidan. In the training days of Priya Malik, her coach Anshu Malik had been a constant support for her.

In her young career, Priya Malik had won gold in the National School Games held in the year 2020. Moreover, Priya has also won a gold medal in the National Cadet Wrestling Competition held in Patna last year.
