40 Indian Soldiers lost their loved ones forever on Valentine’s Day

Today is the day of love. When netizens are celebrating the festival of love, Three years back on February 14, 2019, Our beloved 40 Indian Soldiers were martyred in one of the deadliest terror attacks. This horrible incident was called Pulwama Attack. Every Indian citizens from Adults to Youngsters and children, shed tears on this day after a cowardly attack from the Pakistani side. This incident had nearly brought India and Pakistan at the brink of war.
What Actually Happened?
On February 14, 2019, a suicide bomber of the Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terror group had attacked the CRPF convoy in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir. This incident left 40 army personnel dead. This incident created a lot of outrage among every Indians. Everyone showed solidarity to the family of martyrs and appealed the Indian Government to give liberty to Indian Army for taking brutal revenge.
Think about a moment that our beloved, brave heart soldiers have lost their loved ones including parents, wife, girlfriend and children forever on a very special day. It was a heart wrenching and emotional episode for everyone. After this cowardly attack by Pakistan, tensions flared up between both the nations. Indian citizens demanded ‘Surgical Strike-2’. Prime Minister assured that the security forces have been given permission to choose the timing, place and nature of their response to the Pulwama terror attack. The perpetrator of this attack was identified as Adil Ahmad Dar, a 22-year old from Kakapora region.
India then launched a counter-terror airstrike against a Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) training camp which was calledIn the wee hours of February 26, 2019, the IAF jets bombed the JeM terror camps in Balakot in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region of Pakistan and took brutal revenge of the Pulwama terrorist attack. In October 2020, Pakistan’s senior minister admitted that Pakistan was responsible for the brutal killing of Indian Soldiers. “Humne Hindustan ko ghus ke maara (We hit India in their home). Our success in Pulwama, is a success of this nation under the leadership of Imran Khan. You and us are all part of that success,” Science & Technology Minister Fawad Chaudhry said in the National Assembly during a debate.
Constable Rohitash Lamba, Constable Tilak Raj, Head Constable Naseer Ahmed and Head Constable Jaimal Singh were among 40 Soldiers who have lost their lives in this cowardly attack. India will never forget the supreme sacrifice of our brave heart CRPF soldiers. Let us never forget their sacrifice for our motherland on every Valentine’s Day. Moreover, India’s befitting reply to Pakistan has played a major role in reducing terror activities in the Kashmir valley.
