You’ve been cleaning your ears all wrong, read why!

Q-tips may just be the most satisfying and convenient tool to clear out all that junk from your ears, but it’s far from the best way to get out all that unyielding earwax.

What’s wrong with using Q-tips?

Apart from that clean and fresh feeling, they might actually be doing more harm than good. There’s a good chance that you’ve pushed more of that bit of yellow you see on the end of your earbud inside your ears when you clean them.

But it seems we’ve come too far from following natural ways of cleaning our ears without doing any untoward damage to them and maintain enough earwax for healthy ears.

So then how do you clean your ears yourself without the use of Q-tips

Here’s how you can clean them yourself without the use of Q-tips

– Pick oil from the following: coconut oil, mineral oil, baby, olive oil.

– Place three drops inside the ear overnight and cover it with a cotton ball so the oil doesn’t spill on your pillowcase.

– Put in a bit of hydrogen peroxide into your ears the next day when you’re in the shower and rub it. The peroxide will bring out the softened wax, leaving you wax-free.
