As international Yoga Day is approaching, our Dhak-Dhak girl Madhuri Dixit is starting #DailyYogaWithMe series!

Madhuri Dixit who is a very well known, appreciated and praised Indian actress has started a new series of #DailyYogaWithMe on her Instagram to honor the upcoming International Yoga Day 21 June, 2021!

Every year on June 21, as mandated by the United Nations, International Yoga Day is commemorated to highlight the value of the practice, which is defined as “physical, mental, and spiritual” all at once, in assisting people in living a better lifestyle.

She has a video that shows how to practice Bhujangasana, a yoga stance. She captioned the video and shared why Yoga helps. She said “Day 1 – #Bhujangasana to strengthen the spine, stimulate abdominal organs, and relieve stress & fatigue. Create reels remix of the poses every day & join me for this special series of #DailyYogaWithMe”

The actress is encouraging and asking us to join her on this series and honestly, it seems like the perfect thing to get into right now! As Yoga strengthens, balances, and stretches the body. Slow movements and deep breathing help to warm up muscles and boost blood flow, while holding a pose can help you gain strength.

Bhujangasana is a cobra like pose, it strengthens your body and spinal nerves, keeping your spine flexible and powerful. It strengthens and tones the abdominal muscles. It aids digestion in a natural way. It strengthens your liver and soothes your kidneys.

Added benefits, This position strengthens the spine and shoulders while stretching the chest. It also aids in the opening of the lungs, which is beneficial for asthma sufferers. This pose also improves digestion by stimulating the abdominal organs.

Keep in mind if you’re pregnant, you shouldn’t do bhujangasana. Pregnant women should avoid this pose since it puts pressure on the abdomen and could be harmful. (Check with an expert first).

As for work front, Madhuri Dixit is a judge in the Dance Deewane 3 reality show. Anamika, a Netflix original film, will also include the actress. She most recently appeared in Abhishek Verman’s Kalank.
