The actress is encouraging and asking us to join her on this series and honestly, it seems like the perfect thing to get into right now! As Yoga strengthens, balances, and stretches the body. Slow movements and deep breathing help to warm up muscles and boost blood flow, while holding a pose can help you gain strength.
Bhujangasana is a cobra like pose, it strengthens your body and spinal nerves, keeping your spine flexible and powerful. It strengthens and tones the abdominal muscles. It aids digestion in a natural way. It strengthens your liver and soothes your kidneys.
Added benefits, This position strengthens the spine and shoulders while stretching the chest. It also aids in the opening of the lungs, which is beneficial for asthma sufferers. This pose also improves digestion by stimulating the abdominal organs.
Keep in mind if you’re pregnant, you shouldn’t do bhujangasana. Pregnant women should avoid this pose since it puts pressure on the abdomen and could be harmful. (Check with an expert first).
