Give Me a Break! ‘Hungry’ Man Steals a Kit Kat From Student’s Car, Leaves Note

Just a piece of a Kit Kat wasn’t enough for one candy thief — he had to take the whole thing. When Kansas State University student Hunter Jobbins returned to his car Sunday, he wasn’t expecting to find that someone had helped themselves to his Kit Kat and left a note.

“Saw Kit Kat in your cup holder. I love Kit Kats so I checked your door and it was unlocked. Did not take anything other than the Kit Kat. I am sorry and hungry.”

Jobbins posted the photo of the candy bandit’s note on Twitter and it quickly went viral.

“Well I didn’t lock my car because locking it is kind of a pain (car issues) and I knew I would get back to it in just a couple of minutes so I didn’t think it would be a big deal,” Jobbins said.

“My initial reaction was a little bit of anger, but after reading the note I couldn’t help but laugh at how funny it was. Any anger I had was gone afterwards,” he said.

Even Kit Kat got wind of the theft, offering Jobbins another bar.

“It’s so cool that they noticed the tweet and reached out to me,” he said.
