Gully Boy is in news ever since it hits the production casting tables. Gully Boy has had its share of casting rumours all the way. In the beginning, it was speculated that Saif and Amrita’s daughter Sara Ali Khan will debut with Ranveer in this film. Then there were rumours that Varun Dhawan may take the role of Ranveer Singh as the actor was busy with Sanjay Leela Bhansali film Padmavati. But all these were rumours as the actor himself confirms his role.

Talking about the Gully Boy, it’s a coming-of-age film inspired by two real-life rappers from Mumbai’s chawls – Rapper Divine and Rapper Naezy. Ranveer will play one of the rappers in the film. Zoya has been prepping for the film for a while now.
