The Heartthrob of Rom-Com ‘Imran Khan’ turns 39 today!

January 13 is celebrated as ‘Lohri day’ every year in India. Lohri is termed as the festival of farmers in Northern India. However, there is something more special about 13 January as the Chocolate of boy of Bollywood ‘Imran Khan’ was Born today. Here we are wishing him a very Happy and Healthy Birthday.

Now, Let’s get into his journey as a Bollywood actor. As the latter quit acting at a very young age. He is a former actor in Indian Hindi films. He appeared as a child artist in the films ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ (1988) and ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar’ (1992). Khan made his adult acting debut in 2008 with the romantic comedy ‘Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Naa, which was a critical and commercial success.

His performance in the film won him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. Moreover, He starred in a number of commercially successful films like ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ (2010), ‘Delhi Belly’ (2011), ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ (2011), and ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’ (2012). Apart from acting in films, Khan is a social activist and has written columns for the Hindustan Times. He is a supporter of PETA, having appeared in events organized for the group. He married Avantika Malik in January 2011, after a ten-year relationship.

We can never get Imran Khan out of our minds as he was the ultimate chocolate boy. His looks, his smile, his gentle lover trope: it lives in my head rent-free. He is, in fact, the heartthrob of rom-com.
