Shraddha Kapoor will play the lead in Aadai’s Hindi remake.

Bollywood actress Shraddha is likely to play the lead role in the Hindi remake of the Tamil blockbuster Aadai which starred Amrita Paul as the title role. Aadai was released on July 19, 2019, and received a positive response from both critics as well as audiences. Amrita Paul got massively praised for portraying such bold and fearless character.

A source told, “Producer Arun Pandian, who holds the remake rights of the film, has sold it to a popular production house in Mumbai. They have initiated talks with Shraddha Kapoor and she has expressed interest to be the part of the project as well. However, nothing has been finalized yet. “

There is a conjecture that the Stree actress has been approached to play the lead role in the Hindi remake of this Tamil thriller and the official announcement is yet to be made. However, nothing has been finalized yet. Reportedly, the film will be directed by Rathna Kumar who also directed the original movie.

In 2019, there were rumors that Kangana Ranaut was confirmed to play the leading lady in the film but producer Arun Pandian denied it.

Aadai is the story of a free-spirited girl who found herself naked the day after a birthday party in an abandoned building.

Along with Amrita Paul, Aadai also starred Vivek Prasanna, Ramya Subramanian, Sriranjani, and T.M Karthik.

Shraddha Kapoor was recently seen in Baaghi 3. Now she is going to star in Luv Ranjan’s next alongside Ranbir Kapoor.
