Remember Sunny Deol’s son in ‘Gadar’, He will be seen next in this Bollywood film!

What is the movie that came before Baahubali: The Conclusion and 3 Idiots and broke all the records at the Box-office, well the answer is Gadar. 2001’s Gadar: Ek Prem Katha broke every record at the box-office and become the biggest box-office gross of Sunny Paaji. Along with Sunny Deol and Amisha Patel there was one more character who won our hearts and he was none other than Sunny and Amisha Patel’s son in the movie Charanjeet, Remember ‘Ud jaa kale kawa’?

The child actor who played Sunny’s son in the movie was Utkarsh Sharma, Utkarsh is the son of ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’ director Anil Sharma. Utkarsh’s role in the movie was applauded by all in 2001.

Well, the cute and adorable Charanjeet aka Utkarsh Sharma now has become a young heartthrob. Utkarsh was good in studies and enrolled in an institute in the US to study filmmaking. He has also trained at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute for about a year.

He is a writer and director now. He directed two short films named Purpose (2015) and Home. In these films, he has worked as a director and writer. His father Anil Sharma is all set to launch Utkarsh in his next directorial venture, ‘Genius.’

Talking to BollywoodPapa, Anil tells, “I’m excited to launch my son in ‘Genius’. I was scripting only for him. Utkarsh as a person is very sincere at everything and has a lot of potentials. I thought he can deliver”.

‘Genius’ is different from all that I’ve made before. It’s a story of a guy with high IQ. Dil ki ladaai, dimaag se is how I’d sum up the story for now. I’m looking at casting a fresh face opposite him in this movie, he added.

Genius will go on floors soon; Mithun Chakraborty is back in action with this film. The film will be shot in Delhi, Vrindavan, Mumbai and Bangkok.
